Connexions
In the financial year 2007 - 08 we delivered 9 Junior Wheels programmes for the Connexions, West of England, Service through our PAYP, Learn 2 Work, Choices and Work 2 Learn contracts (down 5 fromthe previous year). These programmes are aimed at the 'hardest to reach' groups from the 14 - 16 year old age groups many of whom are not attending school.
We worked with 71 (65) learners of whom 53 (43) completed their programmes. (75% compared to 66% in previous year achieved with increased learner support from Key Workers in the South Glos area). Referral rates were higher than the previous year but attendance rates were down to 66% from 85% two years ago .
