Pupil Referral Units (PRUs)
In 2007 - 08 we delivered our Community Vehicle programmes for 11 PRUs
The Kick Start Programmes have been particularly effective with the PRUs through the structure and content contained within.
Pupil referral Units who used our services include : -
- The Meriton
- Bristol Gateway
- KS4 Unit, Southmead
- Kingsweston
- St Matthias Park
- The Whitehouse Centre
- The Larch Centre (Weston Super Mare)
- Notton House
- Nailsea Middle school
- Elmfield school for deaf children
- Notton House
Youth Opportunities Fund monies have played a significant role in supporting the students on to our programmes
It has been our experience that the Community Vehicle Programme (CV Programme) has been too long and arduous for most pupils attending PRUs. These students respond better to short term rather than long term rewards. |
