How to make a referral

Making a referral – if you are seeking to refer a young person to the Wheels Project, then they must be referred by an organisation such as the school, alternative learning provider, local SEND department or Criminal Justice service that they are attached to.  They must be ideally 15-18 years of age although we can consider 14 year olds who are in Year 9 for our engagement programmes.

Please click on the course details tab for more details on the types of courses we offer, costs and intake dates.

Should you wish to secure a place then please contact David Glossop either by email at david@wheelsproject.org.uk or telephone 07976 953765.  After which, please ensure you complete and return the following pre-joining forms below: –

Please note:  Your student/s cannot start at the Wheels Project without our staff having seen sight of a completed Student Risk Assessment.

Upon confirmation of booking, we will prepare a Service Level Agreement document that must be signed and returned in advance of your student/s starting at the Project.

Our referrers feedback form will be sent to the referral organisation once students have left.  We ask referrers to complete and return this form so that we can evaluate the impact our courses have had on its students.  This feedback will play a vital role in helping us to share this information with the trusts and foundations who currently help to provide us with 70% of our program costs.
