On Sunday, 19th October 2025, LT competed at TeamSport High Wycombe in the Regional Final of the British Indoor Karting Championship (BIKC) 2025 (bikc.co.uk). After finishing 6th out of 24 in the Lightweight 16+ Division at the Bristol Final, Liam joined five other Bristol drivers at the event. It was his first time racing electric karts and his first visit to the impressive new High Wycombe track, which opened in October 2024.
LT competed across three qualifying heats, finishing 10th in the semi-finals and 20th overall. Despite being taken out early in his final race while in contention, he remained positive and is determined to return for next year’s BIKC. Congratulations to the Bristol finalists, with one taking 1st place and another 3rd, both qualifying for the National Final at TeamSport Warrington on 15th–16th November. A big thank-you to LT’s sister Tash for her fantastic support throughout the weekend.

July 2025 – Community Vehicle Handover – Over the course of several terms, students from Oasis Academy Brislington and Notton House Academy collaborated to restore the vehicle to MOT standard. Their dedication and teamwork culminated in the successful handover of the vehicle to Tim from The Birch Collective – Birch Collective | Bristol based social enterprise connecting young people to the natural world

January 2025 – Our (BIKC) Karting Programme held at TeamSport in Avonmouth continues to be one of our most popular. It runs during term time on a Wednesday afternoon. This course offers much more flexibility in that students can enrol at any time during the term and groups sizes are unrestricted. September 2024 – 86 students have enrolled on our courses to date this academic year which is 10 more than last year. These referrals have come from 22 different organisations across Bristol, South Gloucestershire, BANES and North Somerset Unity Authorities.
September 2024 – Community Vehicle Programme – There remains a high level of interest from students students, referrers and recipients for this programme. Students from Oasis Brislington Academy worked on a van which was donated in September to the Children’s Book Project which will be used as a mobile library. We hope to renovate two more vehicles in the first half of 2025. One for Birch Collective based in Bristol and another for the Children’s Book Project.
